On the afternoon of April 21, the International Education College (School of Foreign Languages) invited Jiang Dongdong, an outstanding graduate of the Business English major in 2011, to return to his alma mater to conduct a special lecture.

Jiang Dongdong is currently the general manager of Shanghai Dongyi Textile Co., Ltd. In the lecture, Jiang Dongdong shared his experience around three core aspects. When talking about professional learning during his time at school, Jiang Dongdong emphasized the importance of mastering professional knowledge and shared his learning methods and skills. He encouraged students to make full use of the school’s high-quality resources, actively participate in practical activities, and combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications to improve their comprehensive abilities. He also combined the current industry development trend to put forward valuable suggestions on how to establish career goals and carry out personal career planning around the major he studied, guiding students to not only base themselves on the present, but also have a long-term vision and a clear direction.

The students said that this lecture benefited them a lot. They not only had the opportunity to communicate with outstanding entrepreneurs face-to-face, but also had a deeper understanding of the new situation and new needs of the industry, and further clarified the direction of future career planning, providing important reference and guidance for their university life and future development.
