To establish a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship education, and entrepreneurial training for our students, enhance their innovative awareness, entrepreneurial spirit, and capabilities, encourage and guide students with entrepreneurial aspirations to engage in practical ventures, and promote high-quality employment and entrepreneurship among graduates, the first Online Entrepreneurship Training Class (pilot program) of Kaifeng University, jointly organized by our university and Zhongyuan Education Technology Group, officially commenced on the morning of June 4. Attendees at the opening ceremony included Li Haibo, Principal of Henan Jingteng Vocational Training School under Zhongyuan Education Technology Group; Li Hui, Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College; Liu Zhongran, Vice Dean; Cheng Xin, Party Branch Secretary of the International Education (Foreign Languages) College; Jiang Dashan, Dean; and Huang Yiqin, Vice Dean. A total of 92 students from the major ofCross-Border E-Commercein Grade2024at the International Education (Foreign Languages) College participated in the training.
The first training session spans six days and adopts an intensive teaching model. The 92 students are divided into three small classes, with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum. Specially appointed instructors from Zhongyuan Education Grouptodeliver an all-round, multi-dimensional teaching approach covering four major modules: theoretical instruction, simulation exercises, entrepreneurial practice, and employment support (TSPS). The college has assigned professional instructors to provide full-time classroom assistance, offering guidance andanswering questionsto ensure every participant gains substantial knowledge and effectively enhances their online entrepreneurship and employability skills.
Beyond student training, the university and the enterprise will engage in in-depth exchanges on professional resource database development, faculty sharing, classroom organization and teaching methodology innovation, and college student entrepreneurship mentoring. As a pilot program, the college will explore various aspects, such as the "course + training" teaching model, integrating the "MalanhuaPlan" teaching approach into specialized courses, and refining training evaluation mechanisms. These efforts aim to comprehensively advance educational reform from multiple angles, striving to create an innovation and entrepreneurship talent cultivation model that better aligns with contemporary demands and lays a solid foundation for students' future development.
