To thoroughly implement the national strategy for digital education and advance theCollege’s digital transformation in education, theCollegeheld a specialized training session on digital textbooks and applications on the afternoon of June 6 in Room 109, Building 5. The session was led by Mr. Zhao Wei, a Gold Medal Lecturer from the Zhoudao Education Research Institute. Attendees included heads of professional resource repositories and teachers planning to develop digital textbooks.
Mr. Zhao Wei systematically explained Zhoudao Education’s fifth-generation digital textbook solutions, focusing on development, application, and publishing. Through a combination of theory, case demonstrations, and hands-on practice, he highlighted three core modules:
1. Policy Interpretation & Theoretical Insight:
Detailed analysis of digital textbook formats and quality evaluation standards. Aligned with China’s "14th Five-Year Plan" Implementation Plan for Vocational Education Textbook Development, he clarified trends in integrating technologies like interactivity, 3D modeling, and knowledge graphs.
2. Tiered Practice & Enhanced Operational Skills:
From basic graphic-text layout to advanced metaverse component development, participating teachers used the "SuperTeachingPlan" platform to design 10-lesson textbook prototypes. Tasks covered AI-generated courseware, collaborative whiteboard creation, and serious game development.
3. Outcome Transformation & Closed-Loop Management:
Demonstrated pathways for publishing trial editions of school-based textbooks and iterative upgrades. Streamlined the "writing-application-publishing" lifecycle to provide technical support for teachers applying for national-level planned textbook projects.
He also shared Zhoudao’s innovative advantages, such as AI-adaptive learning paths and metaverse-based contextual teaching, helping teachers break the limitations of traditional textbooks and create "audible, visual, and interactive" next-generation resources. Following the training, participants engaged in further discussions on digital textbook development.
Attendees expressed deep appreciation for the value of digital textbooks in enhancing teaching efficiency and expanding classroom boundaries. They pledged to develop discipline-specific digital resources moving forward.
