At 10:00 a.m. on October 10, 2024, a unique investor education lecture was held in Classroom 204 of Building 15 for the students majoring in Big Data and Accounting in Grade 2022 of our college. The lecturer was Li Guannan, the head of Oriental Wealth Kaifeng Business Department.

First of all, combining with the booming stock market at present, Manager Li reminded the students that they should not enter the stock market blindly. They should pay attention to investment risks and must not invest with debt because the money earned by luck is likely to be lost due to one's own strength. Subsequently, as the audience were junior students who are about to step into internship positions, Manager Li analyzed in detail the employment prospects of the financial industry and made a career plan in the financial field for the students, pointing out that direction is more important than the efforts. The students listened with great interest and had a preliminary understanding of their future employment. In the final interactive session, the atmosphere was lively. The students were eager to answer questions, and each respondent received a small gift as a reward. At the end of the lecture, the students were still immersed in it and could not get enough of it. They expressed their hope to have more opportunities to attend such lectures in the future and Mr. Li responded that they were welcome to visit their business department .

Through this lecture, the students have established risk awareness, clarified their future employment directions, reduced their employment anxiety and confusion, and became more confident about the future. This lecture is one of the series of classroom characteristic activities in the International Education (Foreign Languages) College. The college will continue to improve students' professional skills and qualities through diversified forms.
