On October 12th the National Selection Competition for the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition in the Foreign Language event concluded, with two teams from the International Education (Foreign Languages) College achieving excellent results and advancing to the National Finals.

The Foreign Language event of the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation was held for the first time this year. The competition adopted a team format of three students per group for comprehensive competition. In accordance with the competition requirements, the language professional teachers of the college carefully selected and actively guided students to form teams for the competition. After nearly a month of preparation, the six groups of contestants won one prize, one third prize, and one excellent prize in the higher vocational English group, as well as one third prize and two excellent prizes in the higher vocational Japanese group One team from the Business English major and one team from the Applied Japanese major respectively entered the National Finals of the higher vocational English group and the higher vocational Japanese group., the instructors and students are actively preparing for the competition, striving to achieve better results.

Over the years, the International Education (Foreign Languages) College has actively an atmosphere of professional skills competitions that promote teaching and learning, helping students to improve their professional level and comprehensive abilities. Through this competition, not only has the teaching team exercised and the students' confidence in competition and professional level been enhanced, but also the status of our school's foreign language majors in national higher vocational colleges has been, forming a good effect of students actively participating in various professional skills competitions.
