The International Education College held the 5th English Song Competition on the afternoon of April 14th in the lecture hall of Building 5. Directors of the teaching research department, Sun Chao, Li Aoran, and English teachers Fan Xiaojun, Song Dahua, and Wang Jing served as judges at the competition.

After the preliminary selection, a total of 10 contestants fromthe grade2020 andgrade2021 participated in the competition. During the competition, the contestants presented themselves confidently with standard pronunciation, full feelings and touching songs, winning bursts of applause and cheers from the audience.They displayed the youthful vitality andlearning enthusiasm of the students. After intense competition, the judges awarded one first prize, three second prizes, and six third prizes. Li Zhichao won the first prize with his song "Say It Again". After the competition, the judges presented awards to the winners and took photos with them.

This English songcompetition is one of the annual "Chinese and Western Culture Festival" series activities of the International Education College. The entire competition was conducted in accordance with the school's epidemic prevention and control regulations. This competition provided a platform for students to showcase themselves and enriched the campus cultural life of students. It also showcased the positive and enterprising spirit of contemporary college students and stimulated their interest in English learning . It also interpreted the style of youth and enthusiasm.
