Site news Recently, the official public number of Shanghai Foreign Language Education Publishing House announced the list of winners of the first “Foreign Language Education Publishing House Cup” National Japanese Language E-CoursewareContest, and the team of Jia Huixiao, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages ofKaifeng University, won the first prize.

The competition was organized by the Japanese Sub-committee of Foreign Language Teaching Administry Committee in Higher Educationunder the Ministry of Education, Japanese Language Teaching Research Association and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. It aims to promote the teaching of Japanese language in colleges and universities with the aid of multimedia technology, to further enrich the content of classroom teaching, to promote the thinking of Japanese language teachers in colleges and universities on the construction of interactive, autonomous and cooperative teaching modes, and to help update and improve the teaching methods and means, so as to improve the ability of Japanese language teachers to use information technology to integrate the curriculum, and to enhance the effect of classroom teaching.

The competition was divided into two stages: preliminary and final. In the preliminary stage, more than 200 works from nearly 200 colleges and universities participated in the competition, and a total of 74 works entered the national final. The results of the final round were determined according to the scores of the expert evaluation (90%) and the scores of online voting (10%). The entries of our teachers’ team were rich in content, including graphics, audio, video and original microcourses, which were beautifully produced, highlighting the characteristics of student-centered and putting theoryinto practice, and they finally stood out and won the first prize.

Our school has always attached great importance to the reform of teachers, teaching materials and teaching methods, leading teachers to change the concept of education and teaching, innovate teaching methods and teaching tools, and promote the deep integration of modern education technology and traditional classroom.Throughthis competition, our teacherswill further improve the level of multimedia courseware production and application, enhance the ability to integrate information technology and curriculum, promote teaching and reform through competition, accelerate the pace of modernization of teaching and the construction of teaching resources, and continuously improve the level of classroom teaching and the quality of talent cultivation.
