The School of Foreign Languages carries out the theme activity of "Teaching Standard Month"

In order to strengthen the teaching work of the school and improve teachers' awareness of norms, from May 20, the School of Foreign Languages used the time one month before the examination to carry out the theme activity of "Teaching Norms Month" among the teachers of the school, and comprehensively carried out the study, inspection and evaluation of various teaching norms.

The learning content of this activity mainly includes: English lesson plan writing and classroom teaching standards, graduation practice and thesis guidance work standards, English test bank construction and paper correction work standards and invigilation work standards. At the same time, with the learning content as the theme, a series of inspection and evaluation activities have been carried out: 1. "Open the door to listen to the class system", the teaching committee members of the school will randomly listen to the class, check the teaching plans and teachers' logs on the spot, and use the teaching and research activities to display the teaching plans and exchange and learn from each other; 2. "Thesis Defense Simulation Activity" : Each thesis defense team will conduct simulation activities before the formal defense to get familiar with the defense procedure; 3. "Examination Paper Evaluation Activity", the school leaders checked all the examination papers of this course and evaluated them according to the content and format, and selected excellent examination papers for everyone to watch and learn.

Through the implementation of the "Teaching Standard Month" theme activities, not only the teachers of our college have enhanced their awareness of norms, but more importantly, the quality of all teachers' work has been significantly improved, especially the young teachers, who have a further comprehensive understanding of the various work processes and requirements, laying a good foundation for their future development.
