On the evening of November 25th and 28th, Foreign Language Club carried outthe themed activities of“Japanese Corner”and“English Corner”respectively in the classrooms on the fifth floor ofSchool of Foreign Languages .

In order to further improve the effectiveness of the clubs and enhance students' participation, the Japanese and theEnglish instructors of the School of Foreign Languages came to the scene and opened the activities with the themes of“Understanding Japanese”and“British and American Cultures”respectively. Chen Yongping, ateacher who teachesJapanese introduced the backgrounds of Japanese language and Japanese culture to the students, while the English teacher, Ms. Zhang Xiufang, told the students about the origins of the major festivals in the United Kingdom and the United Statesand the related customs. Afterwards, the students of Foreign Language Club went onto the stage actively and enthusiastically one after another to speak, which not only practiced the students' language output ability but alsoshowed their own personalities. Combining the popularization and improvement of activities, we strive to createsome activities with foreign language characteristics.

The colorful“Foreign Language Corner”further improves students' comprehensive language ability and broadens their horizons. In the club,there isnot only enthusiasm and efforts of students, but also the selfless dedication of club teachers. Therefore, thestudents can grow and improve their abilities in thevarious club activities.
