To further advance the integrated development of university-enterprise specialized cooperation and innovation & entrepreneurship in the cross-border e-commerce field, on March 18, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College and the InternationalEducationCollege(Foreign LanguagesCollege) invited Henan Yunxia Culture Media Co., Ltd., a leading cross-border e-commerce enterprise in theHenanprovince,to the universityfor discussions and an exchange activity.
In the morning, Wang Meng, President of Yunxia Media, Li Miao, Vice President, and Li Hongzhe, Operations Director, attended the meeting along with Li Hui, Dean of the Innovation and EntrepreneurshipCollege, Liu Zhongran, Vice Dean, Jiang Dashan, Dean of International EducationCollege(Foreign LanguagesCollege), Vice Dean Huang Yiqin, and relevant faculty members. The two sides explored integration pathways for innovation and entrepreneurship education with professional curricula, focusing on talent cultivation models, bringing enterprise projects into classrooms, curriculum optimization, and faculty development. A preliminary cooperation agreement was reached between the university and the company.
In the afternoon, Vice President Li Miao of Yunxia Media delivered a lecture entitled“Opening a New Chapter in Cross-Border E-Commerce—Amazon Entrepreneurship Empowerment Program”to students majoring in E-commerce and Cross-border E-commerce from the 2024 cohort. He analyzed the current development opportunities and industrial advantages of China’s cross-border e-commerce industry and introduced the advantages of Amazon as a platform in the sector. He also highlighted the entrepreneurial opportunities available to university students, encouraging them to “learn by doing, innovate while learning, and achieve success through innovation.” Finally, Yunxia Media engaged in interactive discussions with students on issues related to learning and entrepreneurship in cross-border e-commerce.
The successful hosting of this exchange activity not only provided faculty and students with valuable opportunities to connect with industry frontiers but also further advanced the university’sspecialty developmentin cross-border e-commerce andthe reform ofinnovation and entrepreneurship education. Moving forward, both sides will adhere to the principle of “pilot first, move forward steadily,” gradually deepening university-enterprise cooperation and creating new multidimensional integration models.
