Recently, the School of International Education (School of Foreign Languages) of Kaifeng University successfully held the "Tour the Grand View with Me" foreign language explanation competition. Students from all majors of the 2024 grade actively participated. By recording English and Japanese explanation videos, they vividly demonstrated the cultural charm of our university's Daguan Museum, highlighting the solid professional qualities, innovative spirit and cultural confidence of the new generation of college students.

As a university museum and an important research platform for ancient Chinese culture and art, the Daguan Museum is a comprehensive museum of the eight-dynasty ancient capital series built under the support of the "Culture +" policy of the Kaifeng Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the municipal government. It is also a comprehensive educational base integrating cultural inheritance, academic exchange and innovative education functions.

In this competition, students fully leveraged their language advantages and creative abilities. From content planning, foreign language explanations to video editing, they strived for excellence, deeply integrating professional knowledge with the stories of cultural relics. After expert review, two first prizes, three second prizes and six third prizes were finally selected as outstanding works.

This event not only provided students with a stage for professional practice, but also deepened and disseminated their understanding and recognition of China's fine traditional culture through foreign language forms. The college will continue to promote such distinctive activities, inspiring young students to innovate their expressions in cultural inheritance and inject youthful energy into the construction of campus culture.
