On the afternoon of October 17, 2024, in Classroom 209 of Building 15, the International Education (Foreign Languages) College held a communication meeting for teachers and students of the Australian partner project. The Australian teacher DOUG, the director of the E-commerce Teaching and Research Office Sun Chao, the Chinese assistant teacher Cheng Yue, and the student representatives of Class of 2022 E-commerce jointly participated in this communication meeting. The atmosphere at the meeting was lively, with frequent interactions, and it was filled with the collision of knowledge and the integration of cultures.
At this exchange meeting, the teachers and students present discussed various aspects such as classroom teaching, professional hotspots, ways and methods of learning English, educational situations abroad, and cross-cultural communication issues with the foreign teacher DOUG in a lively and in-depth manner. Starting from his own teaching experience, DOUG, the foreign teacher, shared his experiences and stories in dealing with similar problems through his rich professional background and vivid real-life cases, and answered the questions raised by the students.
