In order to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, study the spirit of the National Education Conference and Xi Jinping’s Educational Philosophy, on the afternoon of 16th January, the Party branch of the teaching staff of International Education(Foreign Languages)College held a party day activity with the theme of“Understand the Responsibility in the Heart and Continue to Push Forward the Construction of High-level Higher Vocational Schools and Specialties with Chinese Characteristics”in the conference room on the first floor of No. 5 building. Li Zhi, member of the Party Committee of the university and vice president of the university, attended this activity.

At the beginning of the activity, Cheng Xin, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the College, led the study of the spirit ofthe Circular of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance on the Implementation of the Plan for the Construction of High-level Higher Vocational Schools and Specialtieswith Chinese Characteristics (2025-2029)and made a work deployment in the light of the current development of the College. Afterwards, Zhang Liping led the study ofIllustrated Key Points of the 2025 National Education Conference.

Li Zhi put forward three expectationsin his concluding remarks.Firstly,theparty teachers should focus on Vocational Education Hardware Construction, pay attention to connotative development, and enhance the adaptability ofwork.Secondly, they should continue to optimize the direction of professional development, and highlight the professional advantages of “foreign languageplusskillsplusculture”. Thirdly, the college should be based on the positioning of international development,andstrive to promote “Vocational Education Goes Overseas”tocreate the characteristics of vocational education and enhance international influence.

This theme party day activity has clarified the direction of the college and professional development. Party teachers have expressed the need to strengthen the connotation constructionandimprove the international comprehensive quality, and make greater contributions to the development of the college.
