Recently, the International Education (Foreign Languages) College undertook the task of standardizing the foreign language signage for Kaifeng Fu（Kaifeng Palace）. Under the leadership of the college’s Party Secretary Cheng Xin and Dean Jiang Dashan, and with the active efforts of some foreign language faculty members, the college successfully completed the related services.

In advancing the standardization of foreign language signage for Kaifeng Fu, the college initially organized faculty into groups based on language expertise--English, Japanese, and Korean--to divide the tasks of revising the translations of the signage. To ensure accurate translations of place names and titles from the Northern Song Dynasty period, the teachers actively discussed and consulted various sources, providing revision suggestions according to their assigned tasks. Finally, under the guidance of Secretary Cheng, the review committee of teachers deliberated on the proposed revisions to the signage and finalized the translations. The service was highly recognized, praised, and appreciated by Kaifeng Fu, leading to a mutual agreement to deepen university-enterprise cooperation between the two parties.

In this endeavor to standardize the foreign language signage for Kaifeng Fu, the International Education College (Foreign Languages College) not only focused on the accuracy and standardization of the signage but also placed special emphasis on respecting the historical culture of the Northern Song Dynasty. The aim was to further enhance the international standing and external image of Kaifeng Fu through standardized foreign language signage. The execution of these services has contributed to providing clearer and more accurate information for both domestic and international tourists, while also bringing positive impacts to the cultural tourism and economic development of Kaifeng City.
