Vice President Li Zhi Conducts Inspection and Guidance at the International Education (Foreign Languages) College

On the afternoon of September 5, Vice President Li Zhi conducted an in-depth research and guidance session at the International Education (Foreign Languages )College , engaging in discussions with the school’s leadership and faculty representatives.

During the meeting, Li Zhi highly commended the college’s achievements and engaged in thorough exchanges with faculty members based on the “11122” strategic framework. He emphasized that the college should align closely with the goals of the “New Dual-High” initiative, advancing the “Five Golden Projects” in key areas: disciplines, curriculum, faculty development, training bases, and teaching materials. Additionally, he urged leveraging competition platforms to deepen industry-academia collaboration, strengthen professional branding, and drive pedagogical reforms to cultivate “dual-qualified” and “dual-capable”educators. The college was also advised to elevate its educational standards through internationalization and digitalization while prioritizing “disciplinary optimization” and “integration of industry and education”for holistic development.

Following the meeting, Li Zhi attended a bilingual curriculum seminar for the new semester. Faculty members presented innovative practices in bilingual teaching, covering curriculum design, pedagogical methods, and assessment systems. Discussions addressed challenges such as language barriers, cultural adaptation, and resource allocation. Drawing from his extensive experience in international education, Li Zhi shared insights and proposed strategies for optimizing bilingual teaching resources.
