On June 2nd, the 3rd English Song Contest of the International Education College was successfully held on an online platform. All teachers from the International Education College served as judges.
Due to the pandemic, this year's English Song Contest was moved online, with 13 participants from four majors of the 2019 class. After careful preparation and rehearsal, the contestants showcased their vocal talents through solo performances. The participants demonstrated standard pronunciation and a strong sense of rhythm, displaying the youthful charm and learning enthusiasm of the students from the International Education College. The contestants' performance videos were sent to the college's DingTalk group, and through online voting by the college teachers, the song "Count On Me" by student Fang Yudie won the first prize, while works by five students including Chen Peilin won the second prize, and works by seven students including Gao Yue won the third prize.
This English Song Contest is one of the series of online Sino-Western Cultural Festival activities of the International Education College in 2020. Its successful organization provided a platform for students to showcase themselves, enriched students' extracurricular life, and further enhanced the atmosphere of English learning, achieving the goal of education through entertainment.
