The International Education College Achieved Excellent Results in the 7th OCALE National Cross Border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Autumn)

Recently, the 7th OCALE National Cross border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Autumn Competition), organized by the China International Trade Association and the National Vocational Education Guidance Committee for Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, successfully concluded. All three student representative teams and two teacher representative teams from our school's International Education College won awards, bringing honor to the school.

There are a total of 1035 participating teams in this competition (including 497 in the vocational group), with 3105 contestants from 326 colleges and universities across the country (including 169 vocational colleges). After preliminary selection, the School of International Education has formed three representative teams from the 20th level majors of e-commerce, international finance, and logistics management, and selected two teacher teams led by Dean Yuan Changzheng to participate in the competition. Through the careful guidance of the supervising teacher and the hard work of the participating students, after nearly 10 days of competition, all three student representative teams have won the third prize of the vocational group group, and the teacher group has achieved excellent results of one first prize and one third prize of the group.

The OCALE National Cross border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to deepen the Ministry of Education's "ability and career development oriented" requirements for cultivating emerging talents, promote universities to explore and establish new mechanisms for cross departmental, cross disciplinary, and cross professional cross training of innovation and entrepreneurship talents, and guide and cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical abilities. Through this competition, not only has the professional ability of the college's contestants been solidly improved, but it is also a test of the daily professional teaching effectiveness of the college. The International Education Institute will take this competition as an opportunity to further strengthen practical teaching, enhance students' innovation and entrepreneurship abilities, better improve the quality of education and teaching, and cultivate high-quality talents in future teaching.
