On December 15th, the fourth English dubbing competition of the School of International Education came to a successful end. The theme of this competition is "Practice English pronunciation and show the charm of voice". Since the beginning of early November, it has gone through two stages: preliminary competition and final. The contestants are students of grade 2020 in the college. Due to the epidemic, this English dubbing competition is held online.

Students of grade 2020 actively signed up. Nearly a hundred dubbing works were received in the preliminary competition. The contestants selected movie clips with diverse themes, lively contents and positive themes, skillfully used dubbing software and made personalized dubbing. After four weeks of careful preparation and polishing, college English teachers provided serious guidance. The contestants had standard pronunciation and proper emotions, showing the youthful demeanor and learning enthusiasm of students in the School of International Education. In the preliminary competition, college English course teachers served as judges, and a total of 16 groups of dubbing works were selected to participate in the final. The final works were uploaded to the college judges' DingTalk group. After online voting, finally 2 groups won the first prize, 4 groups won the second prize and 8 groups won the third prize.

This English dubbing competition provides a platform for students to show themselves and surpass themselves. It not only improves students' oral English skills, but also further enhances the English learning atmosphere, reflects the characteristics of "English + major" of our college, and also achieves the purpose of teaching through lively activities and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
