To enrich students' extracurricular life and cultivate their thinking and expression abilities, on the afternoon of April 21, the final of the debate competition on the theme of "The Success and Development of Youth" of the School of International Education was held in the lecture hall on the first floor of Building 5. After fierce competitions in the preliminaries, Class 21 Accounting and Class 21 Logistics entered the final.

In this competition, the affirmative and negative sides had a fierce debate around the debate topic of "Is the thought of contemporary youth tending to be advanced or tending to be mature and stable?". The affirmative view is: The thought of contemporary youth tends to be advanced. The negative view is: The thought of contemporary youth tends to be mature and stable. First, the debaters on both sides briefly expounded on their respective views; in the rebuttal session, the contestants on both sides argued vigorously, quoted classics, and were eloquent, and launched a fierce debate; in the free debate session, there were many climaxes and wonderful moments, winning bursts of applause from the audience present. After fierce competition, the representative team of Class 21 Accounting won the championship of this competition. Sun Zideng, Zhang Peng, Zhou Pengcheng, and Wang Yongjun won the title of excellent debaters.

This debate competition not only exercised the debating and cooperation abilities of students in our college, but also improved the students' thinking reaction speed and communication skills. It provided a good communication platform for students and fully demonstrated the good thinking, high-spirited and upward-looking spiritual outlook of students in our college.
