The contestants selected materials around the five themes of Chinese scenery, Chinese characters, Chinese art, Chinese achievements and Chinese spirit, and selected one article from the recommended articles for 2-3 minute English recitation. After fierce competition, 2 first prizes, 8 second prizes, and 12 third prizes were finally awarded.
