On the afternoon of May 10, the International Education College held its 2nd English Dubbing Contest in Classroom 402.Some faculty members of the college served as judges, and students from the 2017class watched thecontest.
The contest focused on positive, theme-driven original English films. Contestants demonstrated their ability to perfectly synchronize their voices and actions with the video while adding emotional depth to the characters in the film clips. Five groups participated, and after a competitive selection process, awards were presented for first, second, and thirdprizes, along with individualawardsfor Best Male Dubbing and Best Female Dubbing.
The event successfully sparked greater interest in learning English among students, enlivened the educational environment, and met its objectives. Over the years, the college hasorganizedvarious unique activities such as English drama, speech contests, English songs, and poetry recitations. These events are designed to boost academic engagement through skill-based competitions, blending education with enjoyment to enhance students’ overall competencies and practical skills.
