On April 11th at 3 pm, the 2nd English Song Contest of the International Education College was successfully held in the first-floor auditorium of the college. Representatives from the University of Canberra project, Mr. Zhang and Mr. Lu, Mr. Yuan Zuhuan from the School of Foreign Languages, Secretary Chen Li, Deputy Secretary Zhao Hua, Vice President Jiang Dashan of the International Education College, and some English and professional teachers attended and served as judges. The opening dance "My FIRE," the warm-up dance "LaTaTa," and the street dance"MY IDOL" showcased the vitality and talent of the college students from the International Education College. The contestants, after careful preparation and rehearsal, showcased their singing skills through solo and group performances. The contestants had standard pronunciation and a strong sense of rhythm, demonstrating the enthusiasm of the students in the International Education College for learning English. After fierce competition, Zhao Kaiwen won first prize with the song "City of Stars." After the competition, the judges awarded the first, second, and third prize winners and took a group photo to commemorate the event.

This English Song Contest was one of the series of activities for the Sino-Western Cultural Month in 2019 at the International Education College. Its successful organization provided a platform for students to showcase themselves, enriched the campus cultural life of the students, and demonstrated the vibrant and proactive spirit of contemporary college students. At the same time, it promoted a strong atmosphere of English learning and international cultural exchange throughout the college.
