Site news In order to implement the “National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan”, vigorously carry forward a great trend of the times ofglorious labor andvaluable skills, and further create a good atmosphere for vocational education in theSchool of Foreign languages, on the afternoon of November 5, the first lecture ofthe series of activities of vocational educationweek was carried out intheSchool of Foreign Languages to all the students by dean of the School of Foreign Languages, Zhang Jiuming,who give a special lecture titled “Foreign Language Graduates Employment and Career Development” in Room116.

Dean Zhang explained in detail the employment and career development of foreign language graduates from four aspects: career confusion of foreign language graduates, re-cognition of foreign language majors, career development of foreign language graduates, and internships and employment. Combining with his own experience, he analyzed the employment situation of foreign language majors in a comprehensiveway, updated the employment concepts of students in a timely manner, and made them clearly recognize the current situation of college students’ employment and the direction they need to work on.

Through this seminar,Students have adeeper understanding and awareness of vocational education, which not only enablethem to set up a correct view of employment, enhance their awareness of employment and sense of urgency, but also master the necessary job-seeking skills,andlay a good foundation fortheir following employment.
