On December 19, the final of the college student group of the 3rd "Telling Henan Stories" Foreign Language Competition hosted by Henan Translators Association was successfully held. The final was conducted by online video conference and live broadcast. Jin Yuhan, a student from the Foreign Language College of ouruniversity, won the first prize in the competition and ouruniversity was awarded the outstanding organization unit of the competition.

A total of 53 undergraduate colleges and 21 higher vocational colleges participated in the competition. The Foreign Language College organized English majors and public foreign language teams to conduct preliminary competitions at the basic level, and selected teachers to guide the students in accordance with the rules and contents of the competition. After the online preliminary and semi-final screening, Jin Yuhan, a student under the guidance of teacher Zhang Jing from the Foreign Language College, stood out on the stage of the final. After the contestants' speeches and the judges' questions, Jin Yuhan won the first place in the higher vocational group and became the only player in the higher vocational group who won the first prize in this competition.

This competition fully demonstrated the spirit of the teachers and students of the Foreign Language College, formed a strong learning atmosphere among the students, but also narrowed the distance between English class and students’ life, improved the professional quality of our students, and showed the students' learning results and solid English skills.
