In order to effectively improve the English teaching level of students, on December 21, the SFL held the 2013 National English Teacher Skills Competition for normal College students. President Zhang Jiuming, Vice President Cheng Xin and some teachers attended the competition.

After passing the preliminary written test, 26 students from Applied English major in 2012 participated in the teacher skills competition. The teaching content of this competition includes English teaching materials for each grade of primary school and each grade of junior high school, and the contestants will have a 10 to15 minutes teaching demonstration according to the teaching content they have drawn. In the competition, the players flexibly used the knowledge learned in the primary school English teaching skills training course and carefully prepared teachingaids, such as cards and wall charts according to the content of their lectures. The contestants also actively cooperated with the contestants on the stage to complete the teaching tasks. The atmosphere throughout the competition was high and enthusiastic.

This National English Teacher Skills Competition for Normal Students shows the style of the students ofSFL and inspires the enthusiasm of the students to continuously improve their teaching level.
