On May 19, 2017 at 3: 00 pm, Professor Zhong Shuang of the Cross-Border E-commerce Examination and Training Center of China International Trade Association gave a lecture entitled "The Current Situation of Cross-Border E-commerce Development and How to Grasp the Opportunities of Cross-Border E-commerce" to 2014 graduates of the Foreign Language Institute.

Mr. Zhong gave an accurate explanation on the emergence of cross-border e-commerce, its current development, and future trends. He also pointed out that cross-border e-commerce is a rising industry with a large talent gap. Students who major in foreign languages, international trade, e-commerce, and marketing can gain more employment opportunities through short-term platform operation training. At last, Mr. Zhong explained in detail how to cut into the cross-border electricity business circle for fresh graduates from universities.

Through this lecture, the students gained a better understanding of the theory of cross-border e-commerce and the development of cross-border e-commerce in China, which provided guidance to some students in their employment and improved their confidence to their majors. This lecture is also one of the activities of the Artisan Spirit Shaping Project.
