On the afternoon of May 23, 2025, theInternational EducationCollege(Foreign LanguagesCollege) meticulously organized a distinctive online thesis defense for the 2025 graduates of the Big Data & Accounting program. This initiative provided convenience for employed graduates who were unable to return to campus, ensuring their successful completion of academic requirements.

Before the defense, the faculty members thoroughly explained the procedures and expectations of the online session, offering encouragement and high hopes to participating students. During the defense, students presented their graduation theses via Tencent Meeting, systematically outlining their research topics, methodologies, and conclusions, demonstrating their academic achievements throughout their studies. The faculty attentively listened, posing professional and insightful questions to guide students in refining their research.

Statistics indicate that of the 63 graduates in the 2025 cohort, 19 successfully advanced to undergraduate programs, achieving a transfer rate of approximately 30%, while the initial employment rate exceeded 90%. This online defense not only reinforced students' professional knowledge but also laid a solid theoretical foundation for their upcoming careers.
