On 28th December, the Fourth Foreign Language Speech Contest“Introducing Henan to theWorld”was held in Zhengzhou.Students of theInternational Education (Foreign Languages) Collegeperformed well in this competition andawardedone first prizewinnerand three third prizewinners.

This year’s Foreign Language Speech Contest“Introducing Henan to theWorld”lasted for more than four months, with more than 1,000 contestants taking part in it. After the strict selection of the preliminary and semi-final round, a total of 75 contestants stood out and entered the finals. In the final, studentsfrom our collegeconfidently and fluently introduced a wonderful story of Henan in foreign languages, showing the spirit of the young students in the new era, and won the high praise of the judges and the audience. In the end, Wang Qiuyue, an Applied Japanese major student under the guidance of Ms. Gu Yaqi, won the first prize, while Zhang Yijie and Tang Yanfei, Applied English majors under the guidance of Ms. Feng Xuefang, and Zhuang Lin, an E-commerce major student under the guidance of Ms. Wang Jing, won the third prize respectively.

The awards show that the International Education (Foreign Languages)College has made unremitting efforts in the construction of majors and courses and continued to promote the teaching reform.
