To further implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, deepen the "Three Education Reform", promote teaching and learning through competition, enhance teachers' teaching innovation ability, and promote the revolution of classroom teaching. On the afternoon of June 20, 2023, the School of International Education held a classroom teaching innovation competition in the conference room on the first floor. Vice Dean Huang Yiqin, directors of various teaching and research departments, and relevant full-time teachers participated in the event. Three teachers participated in the on-site competition of the department.
The participating teacher Liu Sharp first elaborated on the course of "Management Accounting" and designed relevant teaching materials on the basic knowledge of cost volume profit analysis. The teaching content was clear in priority and focused on key points; Reasonable structure, natural and compact connection. The classroom structure of Professor Li Chong's "Fundamentals of Economics" is clear, and he is able to use appropriate teaching methods and means to inspire students' thinking, solve key problems, and highlight difficult points. The ideological and political content of the course is closely related to the professional teaching content and can be organically integrated. The teaching process of Professor Chang Lin's "Cross border E-commerce Practice" is arranged reasonably, and the teaching methods are flexible and appropriate, innovative, and effectively utilize modern information technology. After the competition, the judges and teachers who participated in the activity provided opinions and suggestions on course implementation reports, teaching presentations, lesson plans, courseware, and other materials.
Finally, Vice Dean Huang Yiqin emphasized the importance of using competitions to promote teaching, and called on all teachers to take active action, develop their own preparation plans, and realize their life values through mutual learning and teaching. This event takes the classroom teaching innovation competition as an opportunity to implement the educational concept of "student-centered", focus on classroom teaching, implement teaching innovation, enhance the college's classroom innovation ability and level, and further stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers in various majors to hone their classroom innovation teaching skills.
