The National International Business English Test and the Workplace English Test are business English vocational proficiency tests for the international business environment in China launched by the China Association of International Trade of the Ministry of Commerce , aiming to provide objective reference standards and basis for foreign-related enterprises to evaluate the business English level of employees and candidates.Candidates who passthe National Test of International Business English and the Workplace English Test can apply the skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating in English. They can be engaged in the basic work of reception, clerk and assistant of foreign trade salesman in foreign economic and trade enterprises, and be responsible for daily reception, sending and receiving emails, registering appointments and translating simple business letters.

On March 30th, the 2011 National International Business EnglishTest and Workplace English Test Summary meeting was held in Shenzhen Vocational and Technical College.
